Mission Statement & Contact Info
Welcome to the Counseling and Guidance Center! Our mission is to facilitate each student's academic, career and personal/social development through the delivery of comprehensive counseling and guidance activities predicated on the understanding that each student is a unique, developing, capable individual who learns from experiences and grows personally, socially and educationally throughout adolescence. Respectful of individual differences, the program assists and supports students as they begin to understand themselves, develop decision-making and problem solving skills, and plan for the future. In addition to disseminating necessary and important educational and career information, the counseling and guidance program seeks to promote each student's desire to maximize personal potential in preparation for high school and beyond.
- Counseling & Guidance Center Hours: 7:10am-2:10pm, Monday-Friday.

The student's assigned counselor can authorize use of program funds to help keep them in school, to get them more involved in school activities, or simply remove a roadblock to their success. Please consider donating directly to Liberty Middle School's InvestEd fund as every donation is directly applied to meeting the needs of our very own Lightning students!
